Law 4: Finding Your Divine Purpose, by Rev. Sophia Falke

If I’m Committed, Does That Mean I’m Crazy?
Committing to Your Divine Purpose

We’ve completed our March series based on Edwene Gaines’ book, The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity. The four laws are:
1.     Tithing and giving
2.     Setting clearcut goals
3.     Forgiveness and worthiness
4.     Finding your divine purpose

Sunday, March 26th, we went into depth on committing to and finding your divine purpose. As Edwene Gaines says in her book,
“The truth about you is that you are a spiritual being, living in a spiritual universe, governed by spiritual law. You came to this planet to play at the highest level that has ever been played. You came to play at the level of Gandhi, of Dr. Martin Luther King, of Mother Teresa, at the level of every great and wise soul who ever made a difference. You came to play with the big kids.” ~Edwene Gaines, The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity

A huge statement: “You came to play with the big kids.”

So what is your divine purpose? Edwene offers a list of questions to help you. I’ve summarized them here.

  • What issues in the world seem most important to you?
  • Which one are you most passionate about and that you would enjoy addressing or fixing?
  • What would it look like if the issue you chose were transformed?
  • What can you do – what steps are you willing to take – in order to achieve your vision?
  • And, “Will you commit to staying the course, working in integrity, and standing alone in my mission if necessary?”

And there’s the word, “commit.” Are you willing to commit to what you believe in? Are you willing to be passionate about finding and demonstrating your divine purpose in this world?

Are you willing to make the commitment to Tithing and Giving? Setting Clearcut Goals? Forgiving and Claiming Your Worthiness, and Finding Your Divine Purpose? Say, “Yes!” to your prosperous life!
